Lowongan NGO - The Institute for Essential Services Reform (IeSR) : Junior Program Officer: Climate and Energy

The Institute for Essential Services Reform
(IeSR) (www.iesr-indonesia .org), a small but powerful Non Governmental
Organization
working on energy, electricity and climate change issues, based in
Jakarta, is looking for a dynamic and vibrant young person to fill up position
to work with our team in Jakarta.

Junior Program Officer: Climate and Energy
She/he will responsible to assist with the
implementation of our energy and climate change program in the institute
together with the program officers. Main task include: assisting the
implementation of research activities, event management, writing reports and
papers and to develop energy and climate program activities. Responsibilities
would also include building partnerships and networking with civil society
organizations
.

Key requirements are:

* A strong passion to work in the non-governmental sector and want to learn people’s struggle;
* Honest, brave, creative, and smart;
* University graduate, preferably in economics or engineering or equivalent works experience in energy and climate change areas;
* Having basic understanding on the energy and climate change issues will be an advantage
* Excellent research skills and writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia & English;
* Active English will be advantage;
* At least 1 years experience working in public or non-governmental organization;
* Able to work in independent and in a team;
* Willing to travel and working with community.
