Lowongan NGO - Bina Desa

Bina Desa is an NGO dealing with sustainable rural development, closely
working with peasant, rural women and fisherfolk communities in Indonesia,
which founded in 1975. Our works are primarily concerns on strengthening the
social-cultural, socio-economic and socio-political of rural communities
which taking into account gender equality. Now, we are seeking for two
dedicated, vibrant and capable persons for positions: (1) Head of Advocacy
Department and (2) Head of Popular Education Unit based in Jakarta;

Head of Advocacy Department

Requirements:
- Previous working experience with NGO
- University graduate, preferably in law
- At least 2 years relevant experience working on rural and agrarian
issues
- Good analytical on government policies related to rural and agrarian
issues
- Able to work independently and under own initiative as well as in a
team in multicultural environment to achieve deadlines as required
- Familiar about gender issue
- Good Report writing skills
- Ability to make statement letter and press release
- Good computer skills (word, power point etc)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa
Indonesia

2. Head of Popular Education/training Unit:

Requirements:
- Previous working experience with NGO
- University graduate, preferably in social sciences
- Having knowledge on popular education philosophy
- At least 2 years relevant experience working as educational staff
and awareness for community’s capacity building program (developing the
material and training method)
- Familiar about gender issue
- Ability to work independently and under own initiative as well as
in a team in multicultural environment to achieve deadlines as required
- Good facilitating skills
- Good Report writing skills
