Responsibilities:

1. In cooperation with Technical Advisor conduct baseline survey for community profiling on
2. In cooperation with Technical Advisor conduct KAP and other relevant surveys on
3. In cooperation with Technical Advisor conduct Damage, Needs and capacity Assessment (DNCA) and socio economic Study
4. In cooperation with Technical Advisor conduct Capacity Assessment of SATLINMAS and other community Institutions on
5. In cooperation with Technical Advisor conduct Disaster Management Training and other relevant training for local communities
6. Conduct Advocacy (Policy Dialogue) at Kelurahan Level
7. Empowering SATLINMAS and other community organization
8. In cooperation with Technical Advisor conduct Awareness Campaign in the community or school


Desired Qualifications
Bachelor
degree and background and previous work experience as a Community Animator using
participatory methods; knowledge of Disaster Preparedness issues and techniques
would be a strong asset –
Excellent team worker,
excellent relationships with local authorities
– Management, organizational and leadership skills
– Receptive to people, participatory approaches, gender
issues and cultural differences, patient, able to identify problems and
overcome conflicts
– Communication, pedagogical and facilitation skills
required
– flexible, well organized, punctual, reliable
– Very good synthetic mind, able to express ideas
clearly in both oral speech and in written reports
– Good English skills.


DRR HEAD OF PROJECT

Post Title: DRR Head of Project
Location/Duty Station: Jakarta
Starting Date: Immediately
Contract Determined 3 month, possible to be extended

Responsibilities:
* Assist the DRR Programme Manager
* Most Senior Technical expertise on CBDRM within the programme
* Management of the community-based Disaster Risk ReductionProgramme in DKI Jakarta.
* Coordinate the disaster risk reduction activities with other local stakeholders and facilitate the setting-up of operational partnerships
* Participate in the "capitalization" on ACF's DP activities in the urban context of Jakarta

* Bachelor degree, background and previous work experience in Disaster risk reduction and participatory methods; Excellent team worker; Excellent relationships with local authorities Management;
* Organizational and leadership skills; Receptive to people;
