Lowongan NGO - SRC (Based in Teluk Dalam, N ias)

A. LOGISTIC ASSISTANT

Position : Logistic Assistant
Delegation : Spanish Red Cross Indonesia – PMI
Reporting : Logistic Officer
Location : Nias
Starting Date : Immediate

1. Description of the post

The objective of this post is to assist Logistic Officer in manage effectively the Logistic and Procurement of the SRC Nias office.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

- To purchase / manage all office items such as stationary, office supplies, etc;
- To control all office supplies ( water, electricity, etc);
- To receive approved purchase requests from the logistic officer;
- To follow up SRC’s logistic procurement procedures strictly;
- To make sure all purchases have been authorized by the Head of sub delegation / Delegates;
- To file purchases requisitions;
- Check invoice (compare with order) and prepare payment for supplier (with administration) ;
- To purchase items needed by the programs on the time with a minimum cost and good quality;
- To update the new price catalogue with new purchase prices at least every 3 months;
- To support the LO in the following up of the credit in material and money given to the suppliers;
- To collect all necessary documents (contract, invoice, etc) and ensure all the documentation needed is gathered;
- To report to the Logistic Officer the status of the purchases done during the week;
- To report to the Logistic Officer any incident related to fraud or corruption within SRC’s structure in Nias;
- Supervision of the store keeper; check the storage condition of the supplies, random inventory, of items to compare with the relative stock card;
- Check on the regular base, the filling of supply form (release order, delivery note, internal order and purchase order) is done correctly;
- To assist the Logistic Officer in extraordinary duties when required;
- To assist the Logistic Officer when requested (quantity of items purchased is large, heavy materials, etc);
- Reporting to Logistic Officer on a weekly basis on the pending internal requisition of the sub delegation;
- Reporting to Logistic Officer on a weekly bases the stock report materials in the warehouse;
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications and Professional Skills:

Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Management.
Excellent working knowledge of English.
Minimum 2 (two) years working experience in logistics management.
Proven analytical and negotiating skills.
Honestly, availability and commitment to the organization
Good knowledge of local markets and suppliers
Accurate, punctual, able to work under pressure, and autonomy.
Experience working in international International NGO is preferable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially WORD and EXCEL
Previous experience with Red Cross PNS is an asset

B. LOGISTIC FIELD MONITOR

Position: Logistic Field Monitor
Delegation: Spanish Red Cross Indonesia – PMI
Reporting: Logistic Officer
Location: Nias
Starting Date: Immediate

1. Description of the post

The objective of this post is to collaborate wtih SRC Watsan Field Supervisor to distribute and supervise the material to the field.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Field Supervisor to ensure the quantity of material items in correct number;
- Collaborate with Field Supervisor to make sure the volumen of sand and gravel in correct number of measurement;
- To Ensure the quantity of the material distributed from warehouse to the field in correct number;
- To ensure the delivery note has been signed by Field Supervisor and Supplier;
- Cooperate to the Field Supervisor in distributing material to beneficiaries and ensure the receipt note from the beneficiary has been signed;
- To assist the Warehouse Stock Keeper on physical counting of the items in the warehouse;
- To assist the Logistic Assistant in anything regarding his duties when required;
- Report to Logistic Assistant concerning on their daily activities;
- Report to Logistic Assistant for any misuse of SRC property;
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications and Professional Skills:

Minimum Secondary Education.
Minimum 1 (one) year working experience.
Honest and commitment to the organization.
Having sense of prioritization and strong personality.
Having basic technical knowledge.
Experience working in international International NGO is preferable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially WORD and EXCEL
Previous experience with Red Cross PNS is an asset
