International Federation Red Cross and Red Crescent ( IFRC ) on behalf of American Red Cross Tsunami Recovery Program (TRP) had been established to direct the organization’s response to the South Asia tsunami disaster. The TRP activities focus on integrated community recovery and preparedness interventions in tsunami affected countries in Asia and East Africa in collaboration with Red Cross and non-Red Cross partners. The Indonesia TRP Delegation operates from offices in Banda Aceh, Calang, Lamno. It also has liaison offices in Jakarta, and other areas in Aceh province in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross.
We are seeking dynamic individuals to fill the :
POSITION : Disaster Management Technical Officer

Base of Assignment : Banda Aceh
Type of contract : Fixed term
Duties and Responsibilities:
o To represent ARC in the targeted PMI branch for ICBRR Program.
o To provide support and guidance to the PMI ICBRR program staff and volunteers in implementing ICBRR program activities within the stipulated timeline.
o To provide support to ICBRR communities and community schools to implement ICBRR program.
o To participate in implementing ICBRR program activities at branch and community level (including community school) along with PMI staff.
o To deal with project expenditures, preparing bills and vouchers, financial statement per ARC financial procedure.
o To keep all records up-date and preserve in a proper and efficient manner.
o To coordinate and liaise with PMI chapter DM, concerned branch DM officer & Board, sub-branches and the targeted communities.
o To maintain liaison with other partners, GO & NGOs for sharing information.
o To maintain better cooperation and coordination with other ARC program staff.
o To support PMI branch in organizing different workshop/ training program and take part in facilitation.
o To prepare and submit regular progress report on ICBRR to the ARC Program Officer as well as DM Delegates.
o To carry out any other program related task given by the DM team time to time.
§ Graduation degree in any development studies
· Good writing & communication skill in English & Bahasa.
· Good leadership, supervisory & management skill.
· Willing to work in any affected district of Aceh province and ready for extensive field visit.
· Excellent knowledge on computer operation (Windows, Excel, Power point).
· RCRC knowledge and previous experience in the relevant field or social services are preferable
