Thein Simeulue invites application of qualified
candidates for the following position:
JOB TITLE: Watsan Field Officer
DUTY STATION: Simeulue, Baturagi
REPORTING TO: Program Coordinator
STATUS AND SALARY: According to IFRC salary scale
STARTING DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 7 months
1. Implementation & Monitoring of Projects
Monitors and evaluates work progress.
Ensures project objectives are being respected, including quality and
technical appropriateness of works being implemented
Proposes and implements corrective steps as required, including meetings
with PDAM, Camat, Kuciks and/or communities, consultants and contractor as
required to resolve problems or disputes
Monitors and controls the activities in compliance with the time frame.
Liaises with Program Coordinator as required to ensure maintenance of
standards and any other issues which may arise
Replace Program Coordinator and lead the construction and watsan team
including consultants when the delegate is away.
2. Reports, fillings follow up
Maintains files and updates regularly, keeping and other relevant details
updated for all watsan and constriction activities in Simeulue
Prepares and submits weekly, Monthly Reports; Project follow up and other
internal reports as required
Prepares and submits detailed assessment reports if needed
Monitors & follows up on materials procurement by the contractor, check and
confirm the right material, verbal translation between consultants and
Prepares Minutes of meetings and written translation of documents.
3. Collecting information:
Collect all relevant information for project, preparation of drawings &
plans, , project castings, Auto Cad drawings, schedules
and other documents if needed.
Regular site visits and meetings with contractors, consultants, communities
and other stakeholders.
Analyses information and produces final designs, including necessary
with PDAM and communities.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENT:
- University degree in Construction or
- At least 3 Years experience in buildings construction or Pipe installation
- At least 3 years work experience in national or international
- Good management skills and administrative knowledge
- Fluent in English, (speaking, writing and reading)
- Good computer skills (Auto Cad, Excel, Word)
- Flexibility and team spirit
