Vacancies - Chemonics International

Chemonics International seeks short-term and long-term technical specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded project in Indonesia.
The project will improve urban water supply and sanitation service delivery by
developing capacity of institutions to deliver services in water and sanitation
(especially to urban poor); increasing demand for water and sanitation via
advocacy, awareness, national diarrhea prevention & sanitation campaigns,
and household level technology; and supporting financing at the city/utility
and household levels. We seek applicants with the following expertise:

Infrastructure Finance
Utility Finance
Utility Management Utility O&M Urban Sanitation Sanitary Engineering
WSS Social Marketing Hygiene Promotion and
Community Mobilization Municipal Services Communications Corporatization Microfinance Solid Waste Management

Qualifications:

Advanced degree and/or 5 or more years experience in related field

Experience working on USAID and/or other donor-funded projects in Indonesia preferred

Ability to travel and work throughout Indonesia

Indonesian and English proficiency required

We are seeking experienced professionals for anticipated projects funded
by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Indonesia. We areseeking applicants with experience:

· Evaluating infrastructure projects – especially those being carried out by public utilities – in terms of financial feasibility and credit worthiness.
· Evaluating the credit worthiness of corporations that deliver public services, and assessing the credit worthiness of service expansion and upgrading projects.
· Project financing. Have experience developing proposals for project financing for commercial banks, development banks and international financial institutions – especially for public utilities.
· Utility financial management and financial operations.

Qualifications:

· University degree in related field
· Minimum ten years professional experience
· Experience working on USAID or other international donor-funded projects highly preferred
· Proficiency in English
