TEAM LEADER
(Based
in
Banda Aceh)
The Team
Leader is responsible for supervising a team that assists communities in the
planning and implementation of projects identified in their annual plans
submitted to the Kecamatan government. S/he is responsible for helping to ensure
that Mercy Corps' development
approach in Aceh is implemented in a way that builds the capacity of communities
and staff to design and implement activities according to principles of
community-based, participatory and transparent processes.
Mercy
Corps is implementing a multi-component strategy 'n Aceh
concentrating on
local economic development, community development and
capacity building of
local government staff and local NGO
Qualifications include:

Two years
minimum experience with an NGO in the area of community development,
·
Good report
writing skills, Strong computer (MS Office), filing, and organizational
skills,
·
Good spoken
and written English,
·
Willingness
to travel throughout the project areas in Aceh,
·
Experience in delivering training,
·
Experience
with design,
monitoring and evaluation,
·
Previous
experience developing and implementing projects,
·
Experience
supervising or managing national staff,
·
Experience
with financial management and budgetary responsibility,
·
Proven
familiarity with Mercy
Corps contractual
procedures
