NGO Vacancy - DAI-AMARTA USAID

DAI-AMARTA, a USAID-sponsored project in agribusiness markets and support activities, seeks applicants for the position of Finance and Administration Assistant based in Lembang, West Java.

This position is responsible for smooth administrative and finance operation of the project office, especially for activities in West Java areas. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

Cash Management

Responsible for the cash advance in field Lembang, this including the Lembang operation expenses, training and workshop activity
Assist Finance accountant to record all cash advance transaction and responsible for the cash advance settlement.
Responsible for the transfer of cash from the bank to the office.
Responsible for ensuring the security of all project funds.
Responsible for the appropriate keys/combinations to the safes in the office.
Ensure that all expense should be attached with proper supporting document, such as travel request approval and procurment procedure, attendance list.
Work closely with Senior Finance officer of Jakarta office to ensure all transaction are followed the procedure and policy

Travel
Work with the SFO in Jakarta to get approval for travel advance amounts based on travel advance policy.
Assist the SFO to calculate and distribute travel advances.
Within three days of return of a traveler from the business trip, audit the Travel Voucher according to travel voucher policy.

Reporting
Work with the SFO to ensure that all reporting requirements are met while implementing proper reporting procedures and maintaining quality.

Administration and logistic Support
Work with the Jakarta Office Manager to provide logistical support for the project, travel arrangement, completing and filling procurement transactions and documentation as required such as bid comparison matrix, selection memorandum, and quotations, and maintaining the office inventory.

Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia and have at least 3 years experience on finance, can work independently and take initiative. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is a requirement. USAID project experience is preferred.
