Titian Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, was esthablished in 2006 by
Lily Kasoem, a renowned and reputable Indonesian business entrepreneur, and the
catalyst behind the challenging project to rebuild Lamreh Village in Aceh
destroyed in 2004 tsunami.

This professional, voluntary based-managed foundation helps less fortunate
Indonesians, both young people and adults, to improve their knowledge and skills
through education and learning.

Titian offers long-term sustainable support to communities and struck by
poverty, disaster, or conflict, providing the means for ongoing stability and
self-sufficiency.

Currently Titian is running program in few areas throughout Indonesia including,
Aceh, Klaten, Padang and Lombok. In Klaten we have built few schools at which we
work together with the local government to ensure its sustainability and
accessibility for the community.

To support our team in our Bayat, Klaten school, we are currently seeking for
program officers to make sure the success of the program. We require
self-motivated candidates to fill the following positions:

1. Program Officer for Teachers Enhancement Program
Responsibilities:
To manage and administer developed programs for teachers’ enhancement as
instructed by the Program Manager.

Requirements:
a. Posses experience working with NGOs
b. Understands issues and development in National Education, professional
development for teachers, school management, and assessments
c. Shows excellent problem solving skills

2. Program Officer for Students Enhancement Program
Responsibilities:
To manage and administer programs that encourages students’ capacity building
and entrepreneurship skills. All detailed programs are ready to run and will be
assisted by professional volunteers in managing the program.

Requirements:
a. Posses experience working with NGOs
b. Understands the basic knowledge of capacity building and entrepreneurship

c. Shows excellent problem solving skills

Program Officer – Agriculture Program

The Program officer will be responsible for implementing the agriculture production system project, in coordination with other team members. He/she will be responsible for identifying and strengthening service providers to help local producers & processors meet market standards. Depending on skills, he/she could also play a key technical advisory role in irrigation, best practice rice cultivation, and facilitating farmer use of microfinance and other services.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of BSc in agriculture and/or agribusiness related field;
· Strong knowledge of agriculture production; preferably with applicable experience in West Sumatra;
· Minimum of 2 years direct implementation of agriculture and/or agribusiness;
· Must be able to collate and present information and write reports;
· Ability to communicate and develop good relationships with people from different backgrounds;
· Must be able to work independently and show initiative;
· Strong computer (MS office), filing and organisational skills;
· Willingness to travel throughout the project areas in West Sumatra;
· Relationships with West Sumatra farmers, agribusiness and community a plus;
· Average spoken and written English.

Title : SERASI Senior Program Officer

General Description of Role:

The Senior Program Officer reports directly to Field Manager Sulawesi. The Senior Program Officer demonstrates understanding of key program concepts and contributes regularly to the development of program strategy and guidelines. The Senior Program Officer is providing mentoring support to Program Officers under his/her responsibilities. The Senior Program Officer works in close collaboration with other program team members in carrying out his/her responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

1.Prepare an annual report summarizing program activities.

2.Work together Field Manager Sulawesi to prepare the program's annual work plan

3.Oversee and coordinate the work of SERASI program officers.

4. Assist Field Manager Sulawesi to ensure appropriate and timely delivery of field based projects.

5. Actively participate in regular program review and decision making meetings.

6. Assist in preparation and application of survey and program management's tools, training materials, and manuals.

7. Serve as a professional representative of SERASI programs at public forums, meetings and with relevant governments at sub-national level.

8.Provide guidance and support to Program Officers in coaching local partners on accurate and timely data collection and conduct internal and external need assessments, monitoring and evaluation.

9.Prepare regular project reports as required by Field Manager Sulawesi.

10.Travel to the provinces on a regular and as-needed basis to assure direct and clear communication with provincial level partners.

11.Oversee the collection of program data and assure that it is collected regularly and consistently throughout all aspects of the program.

12.Facilitate regular communication among program officers.

13.Keep upper management informed of issue, concerns and successes of the program.

14.Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Manager Sulawesi.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum diploma degree in relevant field (relevant experience may substitute the relevant degree). Minimum 3 years working experiences in a similar position in an NGO or an international organization and in community development, work with community based management.

Additional Skills:

Having knowledge of English, both written and spoken, and to be effective communicator, dynamic and creative.
Able to communicate fluently and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to manage community and working in a multi-cultural workplace.
Able to write program plans, budget and proposals for all future projects of the program.

Areas of responsibility include assistance to peace processes, increased peace building capacity, security sector related issues and crisis rapid response capacities.


Responsibilities:

1. Undertake all substantive development of proposals to get them to the grant signature stage;
2. Ensure proposal and institutional compliance in the program development process;
3. Ensure there is internal consistency in the proposals with program and financial elements;
4. Work closely with the procurement section to ensure that potential procurement actions in the proposal are feasible;
5. Conduct regular monitoring tasks for projects under his/her portfolio;
6. Contribute in the overall project monitoring and evaluation cycle, in collaboration with the M&E Officer.
7. Produce all reporting as required by the East Indonesia Program Manager.
8. Contribute to the contents of the Grants manual and the formulation of grants guidelines as needed;
9. Act as a regular member of the Grants Selection Committee;
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the East Indonesia Program Manager.

Vacancy - Avian & Human Influenza (AHI) Program Officer

The American Red Crosshelps vulnerable people around the world to prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters, complex humanitarian emergencies and life-threatening health conditions. As a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and one of more than 20 National Societies working with PMI in Indonesia, the American Red Cross is currently implementing its development programs in Banda Aceh, Aceh Utara, Lamno and Calang with a liaison office in Jakarta.

The work of the American Red Cross in Indonesia is focused on 6 main areas: water and sanitation, community infrastructure, psychosocial support, health (avian flu, community-based first aid, social mobilization and youth red-cross), disaster management and livelihood support. We implement our work directly, through partnership with host national societies, UN agencies and other non-governmental organizations.

The American Red Cross Tsunami is currently seeking
an Avian & Human Influenza (AHI) Program Officer (1 person)
to be based in Banda Aceh for a 6 month fixed term contract.


Duties and Responsibilities:

o Conduct field visits to project sites to supervise and collect information.
o Prepare data and information for monthly and quarterly project reports.
o Provide ongoing on- and off-site technical assistance to PMI and American Red Cross Avian and AHI Program Manager.
o In coordination with Sr. Project Officer (SPO), assist sites in implementing the project through on-site coaching, mentoring, and trouble-shooting
o In coordination with SPO, provide training and supervision in all components of management, project and administrative procedures.
o Seek partnering possibilities/ opportunities for Palang Merah Indonesia with local government agencies for PMI to sustain AHI in future also facilitate and support development of partnership.
o Identify training needs within PMI teams and support ARC instructional unit to develop, organize and facilitate
relative trainings.
o Technical assistance in supporting PMI for program exit and document best practices and lesson learned for PMI AHI
in 46 branches.
o Create a continual system of feedback, sharing and quality improvement of project
interventions.
o Access and/or develop resources for project use (e.g., manuals, how-to Instructions, exemplars, etc.)
o Liaison and networking with local GOs and NGOs to increase effectiveness of the
project.
o Offer sound technical assistance to PMI to develop strategic partnerships to institutionalize AHI.

Qualifications:

o Health related background and have knowledge/experienc e in AHI issues
o Minimum two years experience in managing programs, community development work, past experience in community based program is preferred
o Ability to train and mentor volunteers and staff
o Proficiency inEnglish (written and spoken)
o Proficiency in computers, especially MS office
o Ability to take initiative, think creatively and work collaboratively
o Results-oriented and able to make things happen
o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
o Willingness to travel throughout Indonesia 25 -50% of the time

Vacancy - The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) : Program Officer (Jakarta Base)

The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) is implementing a major community-based
reconstruction and rehabilitation program with the primary focus on shelter
construction project in Aceh Besar, Lamno, Calang and Nias for beneficiaries
affected by Tsunami of December 26, 2004 and earthquake of March 28, 2007.
We are also implementing Livelihood, Environmental Health and Disaster
Preparedness Management programs to help families and communities to improve
their live quality. We are looking for qualified and committed candidates
to fill the following position:

Program Officer for Integrated Program Approach

Based: Jakarta

Position Overview

Overall, the Program Officer - Integrated Program Approach will provide
assistance on a daily basis to support the Canadian Red Cross in its work
with PMI to implement the Integrated Program 'Building Safer and Resilient
Communities in Indonesia' - A Community Based DRR/ ICBRR Initiative with key
components Organizational Development/ Capacity Building and Resource
Development) supported by the Canadian Red Cross (CRC) for PMI PUSAT/
National Head Quarters and Provinces - Lampung, Jambi, & West Sumatra. The
position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Main Duties

The Program Officer will provide assistance under the direction of the
Organizational Delegate to implement the following tasks:

1. Integrated Program for PMI

1. Assist in carrying-out Capacity/ Needs Assessment, data analysis,
developing project proposal, budget, log-frame, Plan of Action, and all
other necessary documents at the preparation stage of the project.

2. Work closely with all relevant divisions in PMI and all units in CRC
in developing the proposal document to ensure their participation in the
process.

3. Monitor the implementation and provide regular reports as requested
by their supervisor to ensure the project is implemented according to the
Plan of Action and within the approved budget.

4. Support target Chapter and Branches with key focus in Organizational
Development/ Capacity Building; DRR/ ICBRR and Resource Development,
volunteer training and management

5. Ensure timely and accurate submission of project progress and
financial reports

6. Support PMI PUSAT, target Chapter and branches in developing network
with stakeholders, including government counterparts, NGOs, INGOs, business
communities, etc. Attend coordination meetings with other stakeholders

7. Ensure regular communication and good coordination between CRC and
PMI National Office, target Chapter and Branches

8. Report to OD/ Program Delegate all activities and feedback from PMI
PUSAT; and target Chapter, & branches

9. Act as interpreter for CRC expatriate delegates at meetings/ field
visits and ensure meeting minutes taken and distribute.

Others

1. To represent CRC in assisting PMI/ the International Federation of
Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (the Federation) to conduct emergency
assessment in time of disaster if requested.
2. Support Program delegates to monitor other CRC funded activities in
Indonesia, as required
3. To attend meetings, workshop, or training as recommended
4. Any other duties assigned by the Organizational Development
Delegate.

General Duties

1. Actively work towards the achievement of the CRC goals in-country
through effective managerial and lateral relations and teamwork.
2. Respect and observe the Code of Conduct and staff regulations.
3. Ensure understanding of roles, responsibilities, lateral
relationship and accountabilities.
4. Abide by and work in accordance with the Red Cross/ Red Crescent
principles
5. Perform any other work related duties and responsibilities that may
be assigned by the line manager

Position Qualification:

* Graduation degree in international development and/or management
studies or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

General Description of Role:

The Program Officer will responsible for developing more collaborative and transparent relationships among NGOs, academic institutions, private sectors and the Government. Ensuring there is an adequate and appropriate process to meet all procedure and guidelines. Areas of responsibility include assistance to peace processes, increased peace building capacity, security sector related issues and crisis rapid response capacities.


Responsibilities:

1. Undertake all substantive development of proposals to get them to the grant signature stage;
2. Ensure proposal and institutional compliance in the program development process;
3. Ensure there is internal consistency in the proposals with program and financial elements;
4. Work closely with the procurement section to ensure that potential procurement actions in the proposal are feasible;
5. Conduct regular monitoring tasks for projects under his/her portfolio;
6. Contribute in the overall project monitoring and evaluation cycle, in collaboration with the M&E Officer.
7. Produce all reporting as required by the Field Manager Sulawesi.
8. Contribute to the contents of the Grants manual and the formulation of grants guidelines as needed;
9. Act as a regular member of the Grants Selection Committee;
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Manager Sulawesi.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum diploma degree in relevant field (relevant experience may substitute the relevant degree). Minimum 3 years working experiences in a similar position in an NGO or an international organization and in community development, work with community based management.

Additional Skills:

- Having knowledge of English, both written and spoken, and to be effective communicator, dynamic and creative
- Able to communicate fluently and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to manage community and working in a multi-cultural workplace.
